Umuluku

Happiness and Ease

A couple of months ago, the Earth received a stardust shower that turned out to be very precious to me, Gea, the dollmaker witch telling you this story: the story of Umuluku, the coolest mushroom in the galaxy.


When the intergalactic mycelium sprouted on Zirka Kokhannya, Umuluku was born. Existing close to the Heart Nebula in the Cassiopeia constellation, this star is home to many heart-centered beings and some say that due to its red and blue atmosphere, most of the beings born from the star are purple, which is the combination of blue and red, showing a level of integration of polarities higher than the average around the galaxies.

One day, my friend Emil sent me a lovely message: “My dear friend is getting married and me and Mary want to gift him a Goya Mystical Doll!” Oh, my heart was so happy, I couldn’t wait to see who would come, which Mystical being would answer Emil and Mary call and come to live with Johan and Soffia.


The answer: Umuluku! He loves love, he wants to bless all hearts that decide to walk this life close to each other, in devotion, and bless their red string with very specific words: “May the loving relationship outside reflect the loving relationship inside, may the truthful relationship inside reflect the truthful relationship outside. May you walk each other home.”

When Umuluku heard the call, he dissolved himself on Zirka Kokhannya’s strong wind and surfed it down the Milky Way, all the way to Earth. When I found him, his pieces were all over. I collected him in different fabrics, different threads, and, in silence, I embroidered his face.

The first thing I felt when I saw his face was immense chillness and a very sweet love. It is as if he is whispering all the time, “All is fine, enjoy the ride, I’m by your side and love will always rise!”

It became very clear that Umuluku is a Mushroom man, far related to our dear Moshi. He told me that ultimately all mushroom beings come from the same intergalactic universal mycelium and that, in fact, not only mushrooms, but all life sprouts from the same mysterious mycelium. His understanding was fascinating for me to listen to, and it brought me a great sense of belonging, of being family with the stars, the planets, the birds, the trees.

“All is fine, enjoy the ride, I’m by your side! Love will always rise!”

For me, Umuluku is one of the coolest beings in the galaxy! He is chill, he is loving, he wants to bless all relations.

He says, “Little mother, we will raise the vibration of our hearts once we interact with one another, remembering our common mycelium at the same time we respect each one’s unique style, the specific way the mycelium decided to sprout!” He calls me little mother. He says, “The Great Mycelium is my big mother, she gave me my first life direct from the mystery of all lives. You are my sweet little mother, who gave me this fabric body and brought me to Earth to live with lovely humans.” That warms my heart so much.

He built a magical staff for himself and placed on it a crystal that connects with his home star: a twin quartz crystal connected by a red thread.

He explained, “With this, little mother, I will radiate what my heart is full of: chiiiiillness, you know, and real ease that comes from being deeply connected with what is true to the Heart.

With the red thread, I honour the mysterious bond that connects souls; with the twin crystal, I call for the sacred union inside and outside Johan and Soffia. I am really happy to love and live there with them, it will be bright!”


One more thing: Umuluku loves to dance and sing. He enjoys inviting people to those good moves, no matter if silly moves or silly voices. He repeated a proverb from the Shona people: “If you can talk, you can sing; if you can walk, you can dance.” “Enjoy the Dance! You dance and the dance dances you, you know?”

Umuluku is a sweet heart. I wish him and his new friends all the best in this lifetime. True friendship, true love, true joy!

And remember, whenever Umuluku is near you, his mantra to you is:

“All is fine, enjoy the ride, I’m by your side and LOVE will always rise!”
